SEAT E-Scooter Landing Page: From Concept to Market Launch

I led the end-to-end design of the landing page for SEAT’s new e-scooter, ensuring the final product was both user-centric and aligned with business goals. This project spanned the entire design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping, design handoff, and final execution in Figma.

Key Contributions:

  • Project Leadership: Directed the complete design process, aligning stakeholders and ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.

  • User-Centric Approach: Designed with a focus on the specific needs and preferences of e-scooter riders, a target audience distinct from traditional car buyers.

Phase 1: Research & Strategy

  • Target Audience Research:

    • Conducted a deep dive into user research, identifying the motivations and behaviors unique to e-scooter riders.

    • Differentiated key preferences of e-scooter buyers compared to car buyers to create a tailored user experience.

  • Content Strategy Development:

    • Developed a structured content hierarchy to guide users through the sales funnel.

    • Designed the page flow with a high-impact hook at the top, progressing to more detailed information to engage and inform users.

Phase 2: Design Execution

  • Conceptual Design: Translated research insights into a clear and engaging landing page concept with user needs and business objectives in mind.

  • Figma Prototyping:

    • Created a high-fidelity design in Figma, incorporating SEAT’s design guidelines while crafting a fresh, user-centric experience.

    • Paid close attention to the visual hierarchy, typography, and layout to ensure optimal engagement.

Phase 3: Developer Handoff & Implementation

  • Detailed Design Handoff:

    • Collaborated closely with developers to ensure a smooth transition from design to implementation.

    • Provided detailed annotations on animations, transitions, and interactive elements to maintain design integrity during development.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Reviewed the developed version to ensure alignment with the design vision, addressing inconsistencies and providing iterative feedback.

    • Ensured that animations, responsiveness, and overall user experience met the project’s quality standards.

Project Outcome:

The landing page for the Dutch market launch of SEAT’s e-scooter is now complete and ready for deployment. It delivers an engaging and seamless experience, aligning with SEAT’s brand identity and addressing the unique needs of the e-scooter audience.

I created this landing page targeting a younger demographic with a fresh, modern approach, using a tailored design instead of the template landing page design. This redesign has been so well-received that SEAT has since implemented it across all car model pages. The new design has significantly improved user engagement and conversion rates, further demonstrating its success and effectiveness.
